Read at Home is a fun, innovative new scheme designed for parents to support their children's reading at home. It features all the popular Oxford Reading Tree characters. These entertaining books, with real life and fantasy adventures, are carefully graded across 5 levels, and contain built-in progression and vocabulary repetition throughout. They are written with varied sentence structure and vocabulary with three to four sentences per page.
  • Hard cover prevents wear and tear from re-reading.
  • Each level features one of the ORT characters on the spine, and is colour-coded for easier shelf recognition.
  • Each title includes comprehension questions at the back for further discussion, as well as a puzzle or activity related to the story.

12 Books Pack with audio CDs
  Special packs of 12 books including audio CDs Levels 1 to 4 and a Japanese guidebook are available. The guidebook includes a Japanese translation and summary of the text. CDs are read in British English.
   


Level 1
  Graded at the same level as ORT Stage 1+. Six titles are currently available at this level. Three of the titles are also available with an audio CD (British English).
   


Level 2
  Graded at the same level as ORT Stage 2. Six titles are currently available at this level. Three of the titles are available with an audio CD (British English).
   


Level 3
  Graded at the same level as ORT Stage 3. Three titles are currently available with an audio CD (British English) or without an audio CD.
   


Level 4
  Graded at the same level as ORT Stage 4. Three titles are currently available with an audio CD (British English) or without an audio CD.
   


Level 5
  Graded at the same level as ORT Stage 5. Three titles are currently available.
   


Handbook
  Use the Read at Home Handbook to make learning to read both fun and successful for you and your child. This easy-to-use book guides you through all the stages of your child's early reading development and
  • explains the skills children need to develop
  • provides supporting activities and games
  • answers your questions and concerns.
The Handbook has been fully endorsed by teachers and parents.


Flashcards
  The Read at Home Flashcards are a fun way for children to learn common words used in English. Playing the word games will help children to:
  • develop memory and concentration skills
  • match letter and word shapes
  • recognise many common word by sight
  • build sentences.
The games, Memory, Snap, Lotto and Mix a sentence can be played at two levels of difficulty.
