This range
contains over 120 entertaining stories that you and
your students will love. Top authors and illustrators
engage readers from ORT level 9-16 and capture their
imaginations. Many of the stories are full of humour,
and have real "boy appeal". They are fantastic stories
that children really want to read.
This series provides a high level of teaching support
for the educator as well. There are easy-to-use Reading
Notes for parents (and teachers!) inside the cover of
each book. Every pack also contains quick and accessible
assistance in the form of new pick-up-and-go Teaching
Notes which are full of useful information. New Guided

TreeTops
Non-Fiction is a new, exciting range offering 42
new titles for readers from ORT Stages 10 to
16 to excite and enthuse readers. These are full colour
non-fiction books, with careful levelling, offering
a wide range of themes and authors that will fascinate
students, especially boys. The breadth of topics means
that this series will be highly appealing to non-native
readers, especially older students.
Teaching support is offered through Teaching Notes for
each stage with ideas for individual and guided reading,
speaking, and listening activities (including cross-curricular
opportunities). There are easy-to-use Reading Notes
for parents (and teachers!) inside the cover of each
book. A Guided Reading Card offers teachers a strong
comprehension focus that will help the delivery of a
structured guided reading session and ensure teaching
objectives are met for every title. |

TreeTops
All Stars are chapter books which are very carefully
graded to provide first class fiction at an appropriate
interest level. They are quality books by top authors
and illustrators to challenge and motivate younger readers.
Careful text levelling gradually builds stamina.
They also contain flexible Teaching Notes
- FREE with each Pack - provide support for much more
than just guided reading.
Each book features an author biography at the end. This
can help some readers identify with the author, and
will engender an interest in the field of books and
writing, well beyond the book itself. |
